Why Should You Use A Natural Moisturizer?

Natural moisturizers and other natural skin care products make up the fastest growing segment of the skin care and anti aging market, and for good reasons. There are powerful reasons why more and more consumers are turning to natural skin products that are, in most cases, more effective than the products that you may be familiar with now, and which may also be safer. Lets examine the reasons to use a natural moisturizer.

Modern well-known moisturizers, as well as so many other modern skin care and anti aging products, contain many petrochemical and chemical ingredients. Mineral oil is a good example.

Mineral oil is a petrochemical product which is found in hundreds if not thousands of moisturizing products. According to the cosmetic safety database it is linked to cancer, allergies and immunotoxicity, bioaccumulation and skin irritation, to quote a few. Mineral oil is used in so many anti aging skin care products because it is incredibly cheap.

Mineral oil doesn't moisturize your skin. Rather it coats your skin with a film of oil that prevents moisture loss. However in doing this it exposes the user to all the health risks I have mentioned, and it also clogs pores of your skin increasing the incidence of acne.

There are many naturally occurring alternatives which make outstanding natural moisturizers. Olive oil, shea butter and macadamia nut oil are all wonderful natural moisturizers however it is extremely rare to find them in mainstream skin care products because they are way more expensive than chemical alternatives like mineral oil and others.

What I have previously outlined is gradually becoming much more well known and this is why there is a growing and powerful movement away from chemical and petrochemical laden skin care products towards more natural alternatives which use safer and more effective natural ingredients.

Some consumers are choosing to source these natural moisturizers and are using them in their raw state. Whilst some are available in their raw state some are not, and that can be messy and awkward to make up your own facial moisturizer or body moisturizer in this way.

However there are dedicated companies which recognize the problem with chemical ingredients in skin care products and which seek to take advantage of this by producing natural skin care products, including natural moisturizers, which utilise these ingredients to produce high-quality safe anti aging products.

Obviously if these natural ingredients are so expensive the products in which they are used must also be extremely expensive. Correct? No in fact that's not the case. The reason is that these companies, well one in particular, chooses not to advertise on television and as the cost of television advertising is about the major component of the price of most anti aging products, by refusing to advertise this company is able to market it's natural skin care range at highly competitive prices. And it backs up its products with a money back guarantee.

There are, as you can see, very powerful reasons for this movement away from chemical laden mainstream skin care products. The movement is towards more natural, safer and more effective products and away from the big brand names.

However because the companies that make these products are small niche companies, and because they do not advertise, it is quite common that consumers are unaware that these products exist. However when they do discover these ranges of natural skin care products, and when they try the products and discover their effectiveness, they are routinely surprised and usually become a customer for life.

So if you've recently discovered the problems with mainstream skin care products and are searching for a high quality natural moisturizer the good news is that they are available. To find them click here.

Avoid Petrolatum In Your Moisturizers. Look For Synergy TK.

If you been buying skin care and anti aging products like moisturizing creams and lotions for a long time you've probably heard of petrolatum. You'll see on the labels of most of the bottles. However you've probably never heard of Synergy TK.

Many big brand-name skin care products such as moisturizing creams and lotions contain petrochemical ingredients such as mineral oil and petrolatum. These products are derived from the distillation of crude oil. The reason they are used in most well-known products is that they are very cheap to buy.

Petrolatum is petroleum jelly. It is also known as vaseline. It propels moisture and the principle behind its use, like that of mineral oil, is that it will stop moisture evaporating from the skin by forming a film of moisture repellent oil across the surface of the skin. Neither mineral oil or petrolatum are moisturizers themselves, they are just intended to stop moisture loss.

Sadly petrolatum and mineral oil are both linked to a range of health problems including the formation of breast cancer. Petrolatum is banned in Europe in such products but it is still legal in skin care and anti aging products and cosmetics and others in the US.

The best natural skin care products in the world do not used any petrochemical products but rather use any ingredient called Synergy TK. This is a natural ingredient made from the wool of sheep. It is patented and highly expensive and it contains a type of keratin that is very important to maintaining levels of collagen your skin. This keeps your skin healthy and healthy skin is well moisturized skin.

Synergy TK is completely safe to use and works, in conjunction with a range of other natural moisturizers such as jojoba oil and Shea butter, as an extremely effective ingredient at promoting optimum skin health. Effective moisturizing can only be achieved in healthy skin.

Very few skin care products contain Synergy TK. The reason for that is that most of the big companies try to minimise the cost of ingredients in their products and maximise the marketing budget to spend on such things as TV advertising.

However it is possible to buy natural skin care products which contain Synergy TK and which work exceedingly well and at a price that is extremely competitive with the big brands. This is because the company that makes these products does not spend any money on marketing but pours it's money into product quality.

So if you're using moisturizers that contain such ingredients as petrolatum or mineral oil avoid them. They may be bad for your health, and they don't work very well.

So How Do You Find Good Natural Oily Skin Care Products?

Do you have oily skin? Have you been searching for some great oily skin care products specifically to deal with the problem? Let's consider the nature of oily skin and consider what can be done to provide good skin care to those who have it.

Your skin produces it's own natural oils. This occurs in the sebaceous glands and the natural oil produced is called sebum. For some people the production of sebum occurs at a much greater rate than for others. There are many for whom dry skin is a problem.

Those who suffer from oily skin result is a thin film of oil across the surface of your skin and often more acne and blackheads.

Plenty of skin care products are targeted at those with oily skin. But it's sad to say many don't work very well and it's also true that the very best oily skin care products aren't made for oily skin.

There are several problems with the big brand skin care products. The 1st of these problems is that they usually contain mineral oil. Mineral oil is a byproduct of the distillation of crude oil and it's use has been linked to health problems including skin allergies and skin irritation. It is used because it is very cheap.

Mineral oil smears across the surface of the skin, clogs pores of the skin and can lead to an increase in acne. If you're seriously interested in quality skin care products always look for mineral oil on the label and reject any products that contain mineral oil.

Secondly there are many anti aging products that contain alcohol. Alcohol dries your skin. If you have an oily skin problem you might think it fair to assume that anything that dries your skin must be good. In fact the reverse is true. Drying the skin actually stimulates the skin to produce more oil and can worsen the problem.

Most modern anti aging products are not good for oily skin just as they are not good for other skin types. In fact the best natural oily skin care products are not manufactured for treating oily skin at all. It's just that they use ingredients which are equally good for all skin types.

The very best natural anti aging products don't contain nasty chemical ingredients like mineral oil and alcohol. They contain ingredients like special extracts from seaweed, formulations of coenzyme Q10 and ingredients formulated from the wool of sheep. These ingredients work equally well on all skin types promoting optimum skin health.

The company that manufactures these excellent natural skin care products doesn't make any oily skin products, in fact it doesn't produce products for any particular skin type. It produces a range of high quality in care products that work on all skin types.

So if you suffer from oily skin you need to do 2 things. Firstly avoid big brand mainstream skin care products that contain alcohol and mineral oil. Secondly search for natural skin care products that contain ingredients that are highly effective across all skin types.

What Does "Pharmaceutical Grade Fish Oil" Mean?

It really is time that you seriously considered starting daily Omega 3 fish oil supplements. There is now overwhelming evidence of the health benefits of taking daily Omega 3 essential fatty acids in the form of supplements. Yet when you start to research this on the Web you keep finding that you come across the term "pharmaceutical grade fish oil" or else the term "pharmaceutical grade Omega 3".

Lets have a look at exactly what "pharmaceutical grade" means or doesn't mean.

In fact the term pharmaceutical grade is not a technical term but simply a marketing term. It is used to convince potential buyers that the fish oil used in any particular Omega 3 capsules is pure and clean.

There are very good reasons for the Omega 3 supplement manufacturers to advertise the purity of their fish oil. Fish and fish oil can be contaminated with Mercury and PCBs and the FDA tells us not to eat too much this reason.

Because of this contamination of fish and fish oil many people are reasonably concerned that any supplements may be similarly contaminated. So manufacturers of Omega 3 capsules used the term "pharmaceutical grade Omega 3" to suggest that their fish oil is totally pure.

But there is no formal definition of what "pharmaceutical grade fish oil supplements" actually are. The US Pharmacopeia has no definition of this and there is no other definition anywhere else.

There are no international standards that are binding on the fish oil supplement manufacturers specifying fish oil purity. I said "binding" because in fact there are a number of international standards on fish oil purity but none of them are binding on any manufacturers of Omega 3 supplements.

There is one standard called the International Fish Oil Standards (IFOS). This sounds very official but the IFOS is purely a private organisation that charges a fee for testing the purity of fish oil.

Whilst there are 4 international standards for fish oil purity no manufacture need comply with any of them. Some manufacturers who submit their fish oil to the IFOS for testing make the claim that their Omega 3 supplements are "pharmaceutical grade Omega3" however as specified earlier this is purely marketing.

However there is the no doubt that anyone looking to take Omega 3 supplements should make careful investigation of purity and cleanliness of any capsules.

If you are on the website of any manufacturer of Omega 3 supplements you should always find a certificate of analysis from an independent laboratory evidencing the results of tests for purity.

On the website of the manufacturer of the best Omega 3 supplements can find a certificate of analysis from two independent laboratories that demonstrates clearly that there are no detectable levels of any contaminants in their fish oil.

And this company also chooses to set it's own standards for its fish oil purity which are much stricter than any international standards. Their standard for Mercury contamination is 10 times lower than the international standards.

You're quite right to worry about fish oil purity but don't be fooled by any claims about "pharmaceutical grade fish oil supplements". It's a marketing term. Always satisfy yourself about the purity of your Omega 3 fish oil capsules with independent evidence from laboratory analysis.

The Search For The Worlds Best Moisturizer

If you're interested in good skin care you're probably looking for the best moisturiser you can get. If so you will be interested to learn a bit more about the sorts of ingredients that go into many mainstream moisturizing creams and the ingredients to look for in the best moisturizing lotions.

Sadly many big brand skin care products, and other personal and beauty products such as cosmetics, soaps, shampoos, baby products, deodorants and much more, contain many synthetic chemical and petrochemical ingredients. The reason for this is simple. They are normally extremely cheap.

Moisturizing lotions are a fine example. Look at the label of most moisturizing creams and lotions and you will see mineral oil there. Mineral oil is a byproduct the distillation of crude oil. It is a petrochemical product and is in fact a waste product.

Mineral oil exceedingly cheap, in fact it costs less to buy it than it does to dispose of it. Mineral oil is used in a wide range of personal products, and many baby products, however it is not an effective moisturizer and is not safe to apply to your skin.

Here is a quote from a mineral oil material safety data sheet:

WARNING! HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED OR INHALED. CAUSES IRRITATION TO SKIN, EYES AND RESPIRATORY TRACT. COMBUSTIBLE LIQUID AND VAPOR.

If you visit the Cosmetic Safety Database you'll find that it links mineral oil to immunotoxicity, cancer, skin allergies, skin irritation and organ toxicity.

Mineral oil is used in moisturizers that help prevent moisture loss. Mineral oil forms a thin film of oil across the skin and this is intended to help prevent moisture loss from the skin. And to some extent it does. But at what price to your skin and to your health?

Mineral oil clogs the pores of your skin and can produce skin reactions such as acne and psoriasis.

If you're looking for the best face moisturizer it is important to avoid any mainstream skin care product with mineral oil listed on the label. The worlds best moisturizer creams do not contain mineral oil.

There is a 2nd chemical ingredient that you should avoid which is parabens. Parabens are a class as preservatives. Sodium Methylparaben is an example. At the Cosmetic Safety Database it is linked to organ system toxicity, biochemical or cellular level changes, neurotoxicity, endocrine disruption and allergies.

Avoid personal products with parabens listed on the label.

There's so many other chemical ingredients to avoid that there are too many to list.

So now you know what to avoid when looking at the best moisturizer. But what you look for?

There are in fact many naturally occurring ingredients that can be used in top quality moisturizing products and skin care and anti aging products in general that work exceptionally well as moisturizers and which are also safe to your skin and your body.

There are many natural oils that work exceedingly well as moisturizers. For example Avocado oil, Babassu oil, Shea butter, Olive oil are all excellent natural moisturizers and are all safe to use.

And it's not just natural oils. There are other ingredients that are extremely effective at moisturizing your skin as well at promoting the best skin health and at the same time increasing your skin elasticity.

An ingredient used in the worlds best moisturizers is called Cynergy TK. Cynergy TK is patented and is used for both its moisturizing properties as well as general skin health and skin elasticity.

A 2nd ingredient found in the best skin care products is called Phytessence Wakame. Phytessence Wakame is a seaweed found around Japan and which is eaten by the Japanese. Japanese women have the worlds best skin and it has now been confirmed by science that Phytessence Wakame is packed with a wide range of minerals, vitamins and anti oxidants essential to skin health.

So if you're looking for the best moisturizer the most important thing to know is what to avoid. Avoid modern mainstream big brand name anti aging skin care products with chemical and petrochemical ingredients. You need to source skin care products with naturally occurring ingredients that are highly effective and safe to use.

One company that makes the worlds best moisturizer does not make a moisturizer. That's because there entire range in care products all use the same natural ingredients as I have mentioned above and so they do not need to produce a moisturizer. All their products moisturize equally successfully.

An essential component of great skin care is moisturizing and all good skin care products should moisturize effectively.

Exposing The Nasty Truth Behind "Sensitive Skin Care Products

Are you one of those people with sensitive skin problems? You spend your time searching for sensitive skin care cream and sensitive skin care lotion? Let's examine what sensitive skin care is and how you go about finding great products your skin.

Needless to say there are specific that require professional care from a dermatologist. If that's you then consult your doctor. However it is true to say that most people with "sensitive skin problems" do not require the dermatologist to intervene.

Having sensitive skin can be quite an issue. You get the flaking, dryness, redness, skin blotchiness and itching and it may well drive you nuts. However in most cases it is not the skin that is the cause of the problem but the products put on it.

Usually sensitive skin problems are caused by the use of modern well known beauty and personal care products such as cosmetics and anti aging products and other personal products such as soaps, deodorants and shampoos that contain nasty chemical ingredients that can produce an allergic reaction in your skin.

It's quite possible to make high quality products using natural, known safe and highly effective natural ingredients. However most of the big brands use chemical ingredients produced in labs that may well produce skin reactions in some people. They use these chemical ingredients because they are exceedingly cheap.

The problem of chemical irritant ingredients in personal products is now quite serious and there are organizations set up to combat it such as the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics. They battle against the proliferation of chemical ingredients in modern products that may be dangerous to your skin and to your health and which are, in some cases, "known to cause cancer".

In fact it is unnecessary for there to be any sensitive skin products such as sensitive skin creams and sensitive skin moisturizers at all. There are many outstanding skin care products, for example, which are highly effective and which use only natural, known safe, and effective ingredients which can be used on all skin types and which do not produce any allergic or irritant skin reaction.

The company that makes the best skin care products in the world is not even manufacture a range of sensitive skin products. The reason for this is that all is products are quite safe to use all skin types and work all skin types. They do not produce any allergic reactions and so is unnecessary for them to manufacture sensitive skin products.

Sensitive skin care is not about selecting sensitive skin products. It is about making a decision to avoid big name products is chemical ingredients and substituting natural products in their place that do not use unsafe ingredients and which will not produce any skin reaction.

How Do You Find The Worlds Best Body Moisturizing Cream?

Are you looking for a great body moisturizing cream? Finding the best body lotion moisturizer isn't easy and there's a few things you need to find out about any product before you buy.

Taking care of the skin on your face is important but it is equally important to take care of the skin on your body. Your face is more visible however it's not just about looks. You need to maintain overall health as well is overall skin health.

It's sad to say but many modern skin care and anti aging products such as body moisturizing lotions contain ingredients may be both damaging to your health and to your skin. A good example of such an ingredient found in some body moisturizing lotions is mineral oil.

Mineral oil comes from crude oil and is a byproduct of the petrochemical process. It can actually work against your skin. It is supposed to work as a moisturizer by forming a film of oil over the skin to protect from the loss of skin moisture. However doing this with mineral oil can actually promote acne and psoriasis.

So why is it that so many modern anti aging skin care products contain mineral oil? Because it's way cheaper than good alternatives.

The very best body moisturizing lotions use natural ingredients which are proven to be very effective moisturizers and are also known to be safe for your skin. They help the skin retain its own natural moisture which is a naturally produce skin oil called sebum.

The number of natural factors such as too much sun, pollution and wind can strip natural oils from the skin.

There is a wide range of ingredients that can be used in skin care products such as body moisturizing lotions that are completely safe to use and naturally occurring. The very best body moisturizing cream uses such natural ingredients as jojoba oil, an excellent natural moisturizer, as well is extracts of olive oil and extracts from the wool of sheep.

The very best body moisturizing cream uses a range of other natural ingredients as well such as extracts from seaweed found around the coast of Japan. Called Phytessence Wakame, this seaweed has a wide range of vitamins and minerals and other substances which can protect the skin and retain skin moisture. It is no coincidence that Japanese women eat a lot of Phytessence Wakame in their diet and have done for a long time, and also have some of the worlds best skin right into old age.

Remember that it's important to keep your skin healthy. As well is using top-quality body moisturizes you also need to pay attention to a healthy diet. Eating a diet rich in fresh fruit and vegetables improves your general health and as your general health improves so does the health of your skin. And believe it or not adding more exercise into your daily routine also improves your skin health as it does your general health. All of this is part of a good daily skin care routine. Lastly it is very important to smoke and not to get sunburned. Both of these are terrible for your skin.

So if you're looking for the best body moisturizing cream avoid the big brand names you find on the shelves of your local Department store. These products generally contain harsh ingredients such as mineral oil which are not good for your skin and which do not work successfully to retain skin moisture.

The very best body moisturizing cream uses only known safe and effective natural ingredients such as natural plant oils and extracts.

Are There Facial Skin Care Products That Replace Lost Collagen And Elastin?

As you get older you're finding that your skin isn't looking as good as it once did, it's not as healthy as it once was, and your thoughts turn to facial skin care.

That's aging. Tha'ts why your mother seemed to worry about her skin more as she got older, and looked for a solution to better facial skin care.

As you age your skin loses skin health. More specifically your skin loses various skin properties that are common in youth but decline with age.

As you age your skin loses skin elasticity. That's what holds your skin in place and keeps it firm and supple.

If you pull a fold of skin on an older woman and let go it sags slowly back into place. Do that on a child and it snaps back into place.

Loss of skin elasticity means that your skin loses some of its ability to keep itself smooth and strong. So wrinkles form. You get fine lines around your mouth and eyes. Your skin sags. You may notice this on your neck.

One of the biggest reasons is the loss of collagen and elastin. I'm sure you've heard of collagen and elastin, 2 important skin proteins. Often you see collagen and elastin listed in the ingredients of some facial skin care products.

So if you want to get the best facial skin care you need to do something to keep your skin healthier, and to help replace lost collagen and elastin.

Lets look at how you do both of those things:

1. You keep your skin healthier.

There are lifestyle factors that contribute to poor skin health. Excessive sun exposure, called "photoaging", is one of them.

Sun strips out your skin's natural oils but even worse, it burns your skin. Sunburn is just terrible for your skin. Avoid excessive sun, especially in summer at midday.

Smoking, along with sun damage, is just terrible for your skin. It affects your blood circulation and poorer blood circulation creates skin damage and skin aging. Don't smoke if you want great skin.

And there's even more lifestyle factors that affect your skin, like good healthy diet, plenty of sleep and less stress. Believe it or not these help promote good skin too.

And get more exercise, exercise helps blood circulation which helps your skin.

2. Replacing lost Collagen and Elastin.

This is the most important goal for a good facial skin care system, but sadly most facial skin care systems don't do this at all.

Did you notice last time you bought a bottle of skin care product that there were collagen and elastin listed on the label? Well if there's collagen and elastin in the bottles they have to get into your skin, right?

Wrong.

It's been common science for some time that collagen and elastin have molecules that are too big to enter the skin, so if you put them on top of the skin that's where they stay.

So why is there collagen and elastin in the bottles? Because they sell lots of bottles when consumers see them listed there.

So what is the solution? If you cant replace lost collagen and elastin by putting them in the bottle how do you do it, given that replacing collagen and elastin that are lost with age is so important?

You produce a facial skin care line that stimulates the skin to produce more of it's own collagen and elastin.

Is this possible? Yes it is. You see there's a company that makes a fine facial skin care treatment range that does exactly that. It makes high quality natural skin care products that stimulate the skin to start producing more collagen and elastin.

How? They use a new patented ingredient in their natural skin care products that achieves exactly that. And there's no collagen and elastin in the bottles.

And studies have shown visible result beginning within a month. Pretty impressive.

So if you're interested in the best natural facial skin care products there's definitely an answer to combating aging skin.

We All Want Natural Skincare. But What Is It?

We all know what skincare products are. They're products that are supposed to make your wrinkles disappear, and your skin younger.

But what are natural skincare products? What exactly does the natural have to do with skincare products?

Yes skincare products are all about making your skin better and healthier. Sometimes these products work and sometimes they don't.

But they do aim to improve the look and feel of your skin, that's why you're supposed to buy them.

But though big brand skincare products may or may not work they have another more sinister problem. They can contain dangerous ingredients that could damage your skin or your health.

This isn't just a problem of mainstream skincare lines, it's also a problem of many cosmetics too. I'll give you one fast example. It's only one example, but there's many more, and there are entire organizations set up to combat this problem.

Lead isn't good to have in your system, but a recent study found lead in over 50% of lipsticks tested. Big brand names. See the problem?

There's plenty more examples of dangerous ingredients in skincare products, cosmetics, personal and beauty products.

Doesn't our government protest us from dangerous things like this? Isn't this the job of the FDA? No, sadly, it doesn't, and it isn't. The FDA is not required to test either how well these products work or how safe they are to use. So the companies that make them use whatever they want, usually the cheapest alternative which isn't necessarily the safest alternative.

As a result there are lots of people who are now turning to more natural products and in particular more natural skincare products. What is natural skincare though?

Well there's no definition, so what it is is hard to say. Basically its supposed to be a natural skincare line that doesn't contain dangerous ingredients, and ideally should work well. But natural products can have their problems with dangerous ingredients too, because as with other products they aren't tested by the FDA.

Big problem. We now know that the big name skincare products can contain dangerous ingredients, and some natural skincare products can too. So how do we locate products that are safe to use and work well?

There is a process that you can go through to find the best and safest natural skincare line. I walk you through it on my main website about natural skincare. The best news though is that there is a natural skincare line that is both safe to use and also works extremely well, better than the big brands.

And even better news is that the company that makes these products is so convinced about their efficacy, and safety, that they actually offer you a money back guarantee.

Something that is rare to find in the skincare industry.

There's skincare companies that would go broke doing that, so that says a lot about their products.

Natural Shea Butter And Great Skin Care Go Together.

The most important reasons for using natural skin care products is that they use ingredients that both occur naturally and are safe to apply to your skin. Both of these are important, some natural occurring ingredients are definitely not safe to apply to your skin.

Natural Shea Butter occurs naturally and is extremely safe, and is an important ingredient in only the very best natural skin care products. So why not find out what Shea Butter is and why it's so good for your skin.

It comes from the seed of the fruit of the Shea tree which is found in Africa. The fruit, or nut, is picked and the seed extracted and then the seed is pressed to extract the natural oils, or fats, from it.

The resultant product is shea butter and it is in fact the extracted oils, or fats, of the Shea nut.

So why is this good for your skin? It is a fantastic moisturizer, naturally occurring. The oils from the Shea tree are virtually the same as the oils produced by the sebaceous glands of the skin. So the skin's own moisturizer is replicated in the Shea tree, and the oil is therefore as good as the skin's own moisturizer.

It helps to reduce wrinkles and stretch marks and also helps remove age spots, or brown spots, from the skin as well as blemishes and scars.

It is highly effective at reducing stretch marks and wrinkles.

It is absorbed completely by the skin and leaves no residue. And various studies have shown that there are visible improvements to the skin within 4 to 6 weeks.

The very best Natural Shea Butter is cold pressed just like the very best Olive Oil.

And it's used in the worlds best skincare products. And the worlds best natural skin care products even give you a money back guarantee so you can see for yourself how well it works risk free.

So I hope now you know why Natural Shea Butter is so good for your skin.

What In The World Are Organic Skin Care Products?

You read a lot about organic skin care. But do you know what it is?

What is organic skin care? How do you find the best organic skin care? How do you find the safest organic skin care brand? What is the safest organic moisturizer?

Every day women worldwide search words like these in their favorite search engine, and there is a growing interest in organic skin care.

But what is it? There is no easy to find out exactly what organic skin care really is, and there is no definition.

What does organic mean? Search the dictionary and you'll find something like this:

"characteristic of, pertaining to, or derived from living organisms."

So the ingredients came from something living.

That helps, but not a lot really.

As an example do organic skin care products only come from sources like farms that are "certified organic"? If so what about ingredients from products grown in other countries? What are their certification standards?

What about ingredients that dont come from farms? A certain Japanese seaweed that is used only in the best skin care products comes from the sea? That isnt certified organic is it?

But isn't the sea clean? No not at all in some places.

So can you see the problem here? There isn't a definition of what organic skin care products really are. And you can't know if what you see marketed as organic really is. What is an "organic moisturizer" for example?

And the same problem applies equally to skin care products that are "natural".

Lets think more laterally. Someone searching for organic skin care companies is trying to find something.

What she wants is a product that is safe to use and works well. Because sadly consumers are learning that many big name skin care products and cosmetics and much more contain ingredients that may be dangerous to your health and your skin. Like lead, and mercury.

And even skin care products labeled organic or natural can have suspect ingredients too.

It's true. And that's why so many women worldwide are now looking for more natural or organic skin care lines and cosmetics. But even this doesn't guarantee safety.

Knowing what women are searching for is useful.

They want "safe" skin care products that work well. So how do we find these?

Begin at the Cosmetics Safety Database and search the ingredients found in any product to see if it is considered risky to health.

And you can also find, at the Campaign For Safe Cosmetics, a compact that any company can sign that evidences their intention to use only known safe ingredients. You won't find any of the big brand names there that have signed.

So if you are considering cosmetics or skin care products from a company that hasn't signed then don't buy.

There's 2 things you can do to find safe skin care products and cosmetics. Search the ingredients, and search the compact. Find out where to do these searches at my website.

But it's perfectly possible that totally safe products don't work very well. How do you know if they work?

The best way we know is to try try the products yourself. See if they work for you. But of course if they don't you've wasted quite a bit of money haven't you?

Fortunately the company that makes the worlds finest skin care products offers a money back guarantee so you can try risk free.

And it's not a coincidence that they make the best products, if their products didn't work they couldn't offer a guarantee or they'd go broke giving money back.

So there you have a step by step method of finding safe and effective skin care products.

Visit my website to find out more about using these simple searches, and also to find the best skin care products that offer you a 90 day money back guarantee.

What are the 2 worst things you can do for your skin? Smoking and sunburn. Both are just terrible for skin health and you cant have healthy looking skin if its burned to a crisp and you smoke.

3. Find the right vitamins for healthy skin and use them.

It's too long to list all the vitamins and minerals and other nutrients that are important for skin health, but there's plenty. One very important one is something you probably know about already. Omega 3 oils. You may not realize it but omega 3 is very important for great skin health.

Japanese Skin Care Explained. Or Why Do Japanese Women Have Great Skin?

Did you know that hundreds of women search Japanese skin care on the net every day?

Yes Japanese skin care is a popular search term. Why would that be so?

After all, they don't search Finnish skin care or Scottish skin care or skin care related to any other country.

So what is it about Japanese skin care that excites so many women? Lets find out.

It is not so well known but Japanese women have stunningly good skin right into old age. They have less wrinkles and their skin just looks great.

Why? What is it about Japan that seems to result in Japanese women having such good skin?

Of course the Japanese have a good diet. They eat plenty of fish, which provides omega 3 oils, known to be good for your skin, they eat plenty of vegetables and rice and overall their diet is very healthy.

And a good diet is very important to healthy skin.

But is a good diet sufficient to explain why Japanese women have great skin? Other people have good diets too.

Yes there is another factor, and its only relatively recently that science has discovered one specific reason why Japanese women have such good skin. Its related to one specific area of the Japanese diet.

One specific part of the Japanese diet is a seaweed called Phytessence Wakame.

It's well known that seaweed is a big part of their diet, and they have eaten it dried and fresh for centuries.

So maybe it's the Phytessence Wakame they eat. Is Phytessence Wakame good for the skin?

Phytessence Wakame is packed with such ingredients as calcium (15 times more than milk), a whole stack of minerals like sodium, iron, potassium, and a lot of the B group vitamins. It has antioxidants too, all important to the skin. And all of these are highly beneficial to the skin.

But that's not all, that doesn't explain exactly why Phytessence Wakame is so good for the skin. There's something more.

You see there is an acid in the skin called hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is absolutely essential to the ability of the skin to retain its elasticity and suppleness. And if you've done any research into skin care youll know that maintaining suppleness and elasticity is one of the essential goals of good skin care.

And there is also an enzyme in the skin called hyaluronidase, which breaks down hyaluronic acid. So Hyaluronidase is reducing the effects of that good acid.

And Phytessence Wakame slows up the effects of hyaluronidase, thereby allowing your skin to retain more hyaluronic acid, more elasticity and more suppleness.

There you have the secret of great Japanese skin care.

The really good news is that there is a company at the cutting edge of skin care research that has worked out how to isolate the essential ingredients of Phytessence Wakame. And put these ingredients into a great skin care line.

Similar results to those experienced by Japanese women from eating Phytessence Wakame.

You do have an option of finding Phytessence Wakame, if you know where, and eating it. If you want to eat seaweed.

So there, in a nutshell, you have the secret of Japanese skin care.

All Natural Skin Care Products. Finding The Best

Worldwide there is a groundswell of women looking to find more natural skin care products. Millions of women are now searching out the best all natural skin care products, and for good reason.

Gradually consumers are realizing that our skin care products and cosmetics as well as many other personal products can contain harmful ingredients.

For example lead was found in over 50% of big brand lipsticks tested in a recent study.

And whilst its good to look better or have better skin or use a nice smelling soap or deodorant or other personal product its not as important as guarding your health. After all, who wants lead in their system?

And big name manufacturers are now recognizing this and trying to get a foothold in the natural products market.

Its no coincidence that LOreal has recently bought The Body Shop, a huge seller of all natural personal products.

Now lets consider skin care. Firstly, what does "all natural" mean when applied to skin care? Well there is no definition of natural for either cosmetics or skin care or other products.

Natural means what you want it to mean, and so there are companies making products as "natural" that contain chemical ingredients that most would not consider to be natural at all.

So if there is no formal definition of all natural what do we do? Well lets consider why were looking for the best all natural skin care products in the first place.

If you're looking for a "natural" product it's pretty sure you're looking for a product what works well and is SAFE.

And as we now know that you want safe products we can use this information to help.

So, how do we find these products? Lets look at how we determine if a product should be safe. There is a website called the cosmetic safety database. It considers the health risks inherent in a wide range of cosmetics and skin care products and more. It rates the potential health risks of various ingredients in these products.

So you can use this information to search the ingredients of personal products to see if it is considered that they pose any health risk. As an example you could search "parabens" (a popular and cheap preservative often used in personal products) and see what you get.

The find the website for the Campaign For Safe Cosmetics. The have a compact that any company can sign. This pledges that company to using only known safe ingredients in their products. And you can search this compact to see which companies have signed it, and which haven't. You won't find the big names there.

And if the company that makes the products you use has signed you know they should make safe products.

So you've found a natural skincare company that has signed. So their products should be safe. But are they any good? Well as far as I'm concerned the company that offers a money back guarantee should have great products. Most don't.

And once you've done your search you'll find that one company has signed the compact AND offers a full money back guarantee, and it's that company that makes the best all natural skin care products.

Consumer Ratings Of The Best Facial Moisturizers

There are so many people who look for consumer ratings before they buy a product. Why not get an unbiased consumer view before you purchase?

Makes sense doesn't it? And for this reason there are people who look for consumer ratings on skin care products so that they can find the consumer rated best facial moisturizer.

And that's a good approach isn't it?

But lets have a think about this. Skin care products are extremely difficult to rate. Why? Well for a number of reasons.

If you're rating a childs toy for example, it can be simple. Does it work as it should? Is it good value for the price? Does the child play with it and enjoy it and does it take a beating without breaking. There's a few simple things that you could take into account when rating a toy.

But how about rating skin care products like facial moisturizers? Not so easy. Because the result you get may be entirely different from the result that someone else gets from the same product.

The reason is simple. Rating something like that is too subjective. You may see an improvement, someone else may not, from the exact same product.

So I really don't trust consumer ratings of skin care products and I have never seen a site where you can get a large database of consumer ratings of skin care products that are reliable anyway.

Rather I prefer to rely on a different approach. Try the products yourself and if you don't think they are working for you then get your money back.

You can't be serious. Has anyone tried getting their money back from a skin care company and succeeded? Good luck but go ahead and try if you want.

Not likely.

On the other hand I believe that any company that markets any product should believe so firmly in the effectiveness of their product that they are happy to offer a money back guarantee to anyone who doesn't like it.

And it's nice to be able to tell you that the company that makes what I think are the worlds best skin care products IS so proud of their products that they offer a money back guarantee.

So you can try their products and get your money back if you don't like them.

That's demonstrating your confidence in your product, and they rarely give money back because they are rarely asked.

So it's quite possible to try the products entirely risk free, and see how well they work for you.

And you may be looking for a moisturizer, but they don't sell one. Because if you use their skincare products then you won't need one, because their skin care products moisturize so well you won't need one.

So if you're looking to find the consumer rated best facial moisturizer then I have that suggestion for you. It's too hard to rely on consumer ratings. Just try the best products, risk free and see how they work for you, both generally and as a moisturizer.

All About Consumer Rated Best Facial Moisturizers.

Want to know if looking for consumer ratings of skin care products is a good idea?

Many people rely on consumer ratings for information on buying products. After all, where better to find unbiased opinions on a particular product than from the people who use them?

So you'd think it makes sense to look for consumer ratings and there are plenty of women who look for consumer ratings of skin care products and especially consumer rated best facial moisturizer.

And why not?

But is this really a good approach? It is in fact quite difficult to rate skin care products successfully.

If you're rating a child's toy for example, it can be simple. Does it work as it should? Is it good value for the price? Does the child play with it and enjoy it and does it take a beating without breaking. There's a few simple things that you could take into account when rating a toy.

But lets say you were asked to rate a moisturizer. Now that's more subjective isn't it? There's plenty of women who would give quite opposing views on exactly the same product.

The reason is that the result you get is really entirely subjective. You may think you have an improvement, someone else may see the exact same result as no improvement.

So I don't agree with looking for consumer ratings of skin care products, and in fact I don't even know of somewhere you can find a solid reliable database of consumer ratings of skin care products like facial moisturizers.

Rather I prefer to rely on a different approach. Try the products yourself and if you dont think they are working for you then get your money back.

You can't be serious. Has anyone tried getting their money back from a skin care company and succeeded? Good luck but go ahead and try if you want.

It's not going to happen is it?

On the other hand I believe that any company that markets any product should believe so firmly in the effectiveness of their product that they are happy to offer a money back guarantee to anyone who doesn't like it.

And it's nice to be able to tell you that the company that makes what I think are the worlds best skin care products IS so proud of their products that they offer a money back guarantee.

So you can try the products for yourself and see how they work for you and get your money back if they don't.

Now thats standing by your product. And one of the reasons why they can do so is that their products are so good that they rarely get a request for a refund. If they do they honor it.

So it's quite possible to try the products entirely risk free, and see how well they work for you.

And you may be looking for a moisturizer, but they don't sell one. Because if you use their skincare products then you won't need one, because their skin care products moisturize so well you won't need one.

So if you're looking for the consumer rated best facial moisturizer then why not try what I believe to be the best skin care products you can get, risk free, and see how well they moisturize for you.

Why In The World Would You Need The Best Moisturizer?

There's actually good reasons NOT to use the best moisturizer.

Moisturizing is an essential part of great skin care. No doubt. There is natural moisture and oils in your skin and retaining your skin moisture is important to protect your skin.

Skin that is healthy is well moisturized skin, and well moisturized skin is well protected skin.

So surely the best thing you can do for your skin is to find the best moisturizer? Not necessarily.

Why not consider what it is that you're trying to achieve from moisturizing. For most women moisturizing is undertaken to make sure the skin is as healthy and good looking and well protected as possible. Women know that well moisturized skin is healthy skin, with less wrinkles.

And so there is a big market for moisturizers from women looking to improve their skin health and the look and feel of their skin and the skin care companies therefore make moisturizers to sell. No problems there.

But the women who buy the best moisturizer they can find are seeking to achieve great looking healthy skin. And moisturizing is important to do this, but there's more to it than just moisturizing.

What I'm driving at is this. If you use products that improve the overall health of your skin then your skin should be healthier, and therefore better moisturized. Healthy skin is automatically better moisturized. If you use the right skin care products that improve your skin health then it will become better moisturized skin without any need to seek out the best moisturizer.

For this reason the company that makes the worlds best skin care products doesn't actually produce a moisturizer at all. So if you're looking for the best moisturizer you cant even buy one from them.

And you can't buy a moisturizer from them because their skin care products are the best moisturizer, but do way more than just moisturize.

And isn't that what you're looking for? Healthy well moisturised skin?

So you'd assume that the products from this small company must be really expensive. But they aren't and I'll explain why.

Big brand skin care companies spend huge amounts on advertising, and this has to be factored into the price of the products. So the products on the shelves are expensive.

This small niche skin care company has made a deliberate decision. It won't compete on advertising, it will compete on product quality. So it doesn't advertise. And so it doesn't need to factor in huge dollars from advertising into their product price. So their products are cost comparable, in fact cheaper, than the big brands.

So this is the moral of the story. You don't need to look for the best moisturizer you can find because moisturizing is only a part of the story. Use products that improve overall skin health and well moisturized skin will follow.

Is It Possible To Increase Skin Elasticity?

Will increasing skin elasticity improve your skin care?

Aging comes with skin aging, and as your skin ages it slowly loses it's elasticity. As skin elasticity is important for great looking skin increasing skin elasticity with age is important too, and for this reason so many women are looking for ways to do so with vitamins and supplements and creams.

Does taking vitamins for skin elasticity or collagen supplements or cremes really work? And what other avenues do you have?

Let take a look at what skin elasticity is and why you need to increase skin elasticity as you age.

Good skin care is about, amongst other things, keeping the skin firm yet supple, and collagen and elastin are 2 essential skin proteins that do just that. This is important for great looking skin.

But gradually with age your skin loses some of it's elastin and collagen and so loses this suppleness and elasticity and this isn't good for keeping wrinkles away.

(And there's other factors too, like sun damage and smoking, both of which are terrible for your skin.)

Abut as your skin loses it's elasticity it starts to sag and that is the beginning of wrinkles and lines.

So for some time science has been trying to come up with ways to increase skin collagen and increase elastin stores in the skin.

And that's why you see so many skin care products on the shelves with collagen and elastin in them. But this doesn't work. Why? It's been known for some time that the molecule size of collagen and elastin is too big to penetrate the skin.

So why would these skin care companies put them in the bottles? Because they know that the people who buy skin care products want to see them in the bottles, because then they buy them believing that they are increasing skin elasticity through increasing these proteins.

And collagen supplements have never been conclusively shown to increase skin collagen either.

But our scientists aren't resting, they have found a way to stimulate the skin to produce more elastin and collagen itself and it works.

Its done by use of a breakthrough new product called Cynergy TK, and the trial results have been impressive indeed. Results are visible in a relatively short time, including reduction in visible wrinkles.

But Cynergy TK is really expensive and so the big name companies don't put it in their products. They spend more on advertising and less on product quality.

But there is one company that has reversed this and spends way more on product quality and none on advertising, so you probably wont have heard of them. But their products are superb, and as they don't advertise they keep their costs down so the product price is very competitive.

So increasing skin elasticity is quite possible, and is being done by many women right now, though not through collagen supplements or creams containing collagen and elastin, but by using a breakthough product that actually stimulates the skin to grow more of its own.

Want Beautiful Skin? Here's How You Get it.

Beautiful skin is the goal of so many women. If you gave women, particularly older women, 3 wishes the chances are that one of them would be beautiful skin through into old age.

Why is beautiful skin so important to women? Because beauty is important to women, and the skin is what shows their beauty off to the world. Great looking clear skin is the basis of looking good.

You can't look beautiful if your skin looks terrible.

So I'm here to give you 4 beautiful skin tips. 4 tips that, as long as you follow them regularly, will lead to great looking skin into your older age.

1. Start early.

It's way better to start a good skin routine in your 20s rather than in your 50s, like so many women do. Waiting till later isn't good. Begin any great skin care routine as early as you can, preferably if your skin is still looking great.

Why would you start on a good skin care routine if your skin still looks great? Because the path to beautiful skin is set then.

2. Stay healthy.

Because great looking skin is healthy skin, and healthy skin reflects a healthy body. If you glow on the inside youll glow on the outside.

It my sound entirely obvious that if you stay healthy your skin stays healthy, but it's something that, despite being obvious, so many women don't think of. You need to do all the things you already know about staying healthy.

For example a good diet high in fresh fruit and vegetables is also great for your skin. Its high in anti oxidants which are good for your skin, and it produces overall health, including skin health. And a healthy heart helps good blood circulation, and good blood circulation is also good for your skin.

Lots of exercise keeps the blood circulating well which is also good for your skin.

Takeing care of yourself is taking care of your skin. You can't look beautiful in a diet of pizzas and burgers when the biggest exertion in your day is the walk to the fridge.

3. Avoid the 2 worst things you can do to your skin.

What are the 2 worst things you can do for your skin? Smoking and sunburn. Just terrible for your skin. If you want beautiful skin stop smoking and getting burned.

4. Use the worlds best skin care products.

It's true, like you've probably heard, that many skin care products do very little and are overpriced. But despite this there are some excellent natural skin care products that really do work exceptionally well and are reasonably priced. You need to be using them yesterday.

Avoid the big name skin care products which use mainly chemical ingredients that are cheap to manufacture and often not good for your skin.

There's 4 beautiful skin tips for you. These are the 4 most important things you can do to keep your skin looking great into old age.

And if you're already in your 40s or 50s it's not too late to start, though if you're in your 20s start now as well. If you take care of your body your body will take care of your skin, and combined with the best natural skin care products you've got a winning skin care recipe.

And along the way you'll get fitter and healthier and look great. There you have the secret to beautiful skin.

What Are The Worlds Best To Worst Skin Care Products?

Surprisingly one of the most common questions about skin care products is "which are the best to worst skin care products"?

So today I thought I would deal with this question, but perhaps not give quite the answer that you might expect. I'm not going to give you a list of the best skin care products listing the best to worst skin care products 1 to 10.

That's because I don't believe that women who are asking themselves which is the best skin care products are asking the right question. There is a more important question to ask before you select a skin care range.

The most important question you should ask is one which almost no one asks.

The question is which are the SAFEST skin care products?

SAFEST? You can't be suggesting that skin care products are unsafe to use can you?

Lots, sadly. Most of the big brand name skin care and anti aging products that are common household names (and which you may well use now) contain ingredients that are at best suspect and at worst "known to cause cancer". It's the same for many well known cosmetics, body and personal care and beauty products too.

Here's one example.

A recent study found lead in over 50% of big brand lipsticks tested.

And yes, you're right, it's really bad to get lead into our bodies. And there's lead in big name lipsticks that you may even be using today. There's lots more examples of dangerous ingredients in skin care and anti aging products and cosmetics and personal care products, that's just one.

The problem is now so serious that whole organizations have been set up to combat this problem of dangerous ingredients in cosmetics and anti aging skin care products and other personal products.

Can this be possible? Yes, because the FDA isn't required to test any of the ingredients of cosmetics and skin care products for safety, and so any ingredient the big companies want to use they can. And many of these ingredients are banned in Europe.

And you know how much big companies care about your health. Not at all. Just look at the cigarette companies for an example.

So the first thing you need to do before asking which are the best to worst skin care products is to establish which are SAFE skin care products.

There are some excellent natural skin care products available. They can be made from extracts from plants, or from the wool of sheep, or seaweed perhaps. But only from ingredients known to be safe.

The company that makes the worlds best skin care products has made a commitment to using only ingredients in their products that are safe enough to eat.

So sorry, for those looking for a list of the best to worst skin care products, I haven't produced a list. And anyway most of the big name products (apart from being unsafe to use) wouldn't be on it anyway, most do very little. Strangely it's unlikely that you've even heard of the company that makes the best skin care products, and they even back up the quality of their products with a money back guaranteed, so you can try risk free.

Visit my main website to read more about the worlds best to worst skin care products.

Can You Rate the Collagen and Elastin Enhancers You Find in Skin Care Products?

Collagen and elastin are the two most important proteins in our skin. And replacing lost collagen and elastin is an essential task of any good skin care product. Can you rate the collagen and elastin enhancers you find in skin care products?

And you find lots of these enhancers in skin care products.

Firstly lets look at what collagen and elastin in skin do. These two skin proteins are responsible for keeping our skin thick, strong and supple, and elastic. They help maintain skin health and are produced by the skin itself.

And as we age our skin loses it's store of these skin proteins because the skin is less able to replace lost collagen and elastin. So as our stores deplete our skin starts to lose it's suppleness and strength and elasticity, and it starts to get thinner. We start to notice dry skin more commonly, wrinkles, skin sagging, lines and age spots.

All symptoms of skin aging.

So it makes sense to replace them, hence the reason why people ask if you can rate the collagen and elastin enhancers in skin care products.

Because many anti aging products contain collagen and elastin, the intention is that these will penetrate the skin and replenish it's stores of these two essential skin proteins.

But there is a huge problem with this approach that has been known to science for some time. Molecules of elastin and collagen are too large to penetrate the skin, so when applied topically to the skin, in other words smeared on, they don't go in.

So the answer to the question if whether you can rate the collagen and elastin enhancers you find in anti aging products is yes, you can. They all get a big zero because they do nothing.

Why is the elastin and collagen there? To sell the bottles, because people believe that it works having them in the bottles.

So what do you do about replacing those lost skin proteins?

There is one range of skin care products that attack the problem quite differently. They contain an ingredient that actually stimulates the skin to produce more of it's own elastin and collagen.

Neat heh? And it works too. Results of studies are very impressive.

So, can you rate collagen and elastin enhancers? Yes, Zero. Use products that make the skin produce it's own.

Is There A Solution To Aging Skin Problems?

Just about every woman starts to experience aging skin problems as she passes 40, or perhaps 50. Aging causes various problems with skin health, including wrinkles, skin thinning, loss of collagen and elastin which itself causes a decline in skin health, and even aging spots on skin areas like the face.

What to do about these aging skin problems? Is there anything that you can do about these problems with your skin?

Yes there are things you can do to combat aging skin problems. The first thing you can do is to recognise that skin health is connected to overall health, and that as you age you need to stay as healthy as you can generally to optimize your skin health.

This includes paying attention to important things like a diet rich in fruit and vegetables and plenty of exercise. These two things will help promote overall health, but are just as important for good skin health right into old age as well.

Fresh fruit and vegetables, for example, provide plenty of important antioxidants which help combat one of the major causes of aging skin problems, the effects of free radicals on the skin. And exercise helps promote good blood circulation which is also very important for good skin health into later life.

And there's 2 other things that you absolutely mustn't do if you want to optimize your skin health and keep good looking youthful skin into older age. Don't smoke and don't get sunburned. Both of these are terrible things to do to your skin and cause all sorts of skin health issues.

But eating well and exercising isn't all you can do to combat aging skin problems. They are certainly a good start, but only a start to good skin health.

You need to find a range of high quality natural skin care products and use them, from as early in life as possible. A good range of skincare products will do wonders for your skin. For example the best skin care products supply huge amounts of antioxidants to your skin. Far more antioxidants than you can get just by good diet alone.

And the best skin care products can also help stimulate your skin to actually produce more of it's own collagen and elastin. And the loss of collagen and elastin is one of the biggest factors in aging skin problems, so stimulating the skin to produce more makes a massive difference.

Trials have shown visible results within a month.

But notice that I said natural skin care products. Big brand skin care and anti aging products aren't high quality, and don't work very well. They are made down to a price rather than up to a quality, and more money is spent on marketing than the product ingredients. But they sell very well because they're seen on TV so often.

The best skin care products that combat aging skin problems are actually natural skin care products which utilize naturally occurring high quality ingredients which are known to contribute to overall skin health. They work extremely well and are cost competitive with the big brands because there is no massive marketing budget as there is for the big brand anti aging products.

But for this reason it's unlikely that you've ever heard of the company that makes them, because they don't advertise. They compete with the big brands on product quality, not marketing budget.

Find out more about the best natural skin care products that combat aging skin problems like wrinkles on my main website.
